Ok so back to the blog
on the 13th Jules and I walked up Chaweng checking out the various shops - all of which sell pretty much the same things
We bought some speakers for our stereos - small and cheap - and not the best sound in the world but for about 3quid they do a job
The rest of the day is a bit vague - although im pretty sure it was raining
That evening we went to The Islander pub where there was a pool competition
I didnt bother wasting my money but James and Dan both went in - both got beaten by the same guy - a Thai called Boy who looked by far the best player there
After that we decided to check out the Reggae bar - which had a bizarre cover band playing and where we stayed for all of about 3 seconds
Then we went back to the Green Mango where they were playing exactly the same music from the night before
Well - the previous night they played Justin and then Beyonce whereas this night they played Beyonce and then Justin but that was about the only difference I noticed
We then went to the Solo bar where i managed to get my tooth chipped by a drunken idiot with bottle
i went home
The following day it was raining again - i felt like shit and had lost my appetite
im not sure if we did anything much but my notes say Bugger all so i doubt it
We were getting a bit sick of Chaweng - we were hanging out for nice weather to take advantage of the pool - we had managed short bursts here and there but all i wanted to do was sit there all day.
the 15th allowed us to do this - at least for most of the day
Dan left to go to Ko Tao and the three of us had decided we would head over towards Krabi and see what was going on over there
